Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) Post UTME Form: Eligibility and How to Apply

The Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO), has opened the application process for the 2024/2025 academic session. Prospective students are invited to apply for admission into this prominent health sciences institution.

Eligibility for FUHSO Post UTME Screening

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Post UTME screening:

Must have applied through JAMB for the 2024/2025 UTME or Direct Entry (DE) and selected FUHSO as their first choice.
Must have obtained at least five credits, including English and Mathematics, in their O’level exams (WAEC/NECO), in no more than two sittings.

Minimum Cut-Off Marks

The required minimum UTME cut-off marks for each course are as follows:

College of Medicine
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery): 240 and above
- B.Sc. Biochemistry: 200 and above
Faculty of Science
- B.Sc. Microbiology: 200 and above
- B.Sc. Computer Science: 180 and above
- B.Sc. Chemistry: 180 and above
- B.Sc. Biostatistics: 180 and above
- B.Sc. Biological Sciences: 180 and above
- B.Sc. Mathematics: 180 and above
- B.Sc. Physics: 180 and above

For Direct Entry, candidates must have a second-class lower degree in relevant science courses or A Levels/IJMB with at least 13 points, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Alternative Course Options for High Scorers

Candidates who scored 220 and above in the UTME may be considered for the following alternative courses during the screening process:

Screening Details for FUHSO Post UTME and Direct Entry

The Post UTME and Direct Entry screening will be held at the University’s Lecture Theatre, Take-off Campus, Otada, Otukpo. The specific date for the screening will be announced later.

How to Change to FUHSO as First Choice

Candidates interested in switching to FUHSO must log into the JAMB portal and select Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo as their first choice. Ensure the course chosen matches your UTME subject combination and O’level results. Remember to upload your O’level results to the JAMB portal, as candidates without uploaded results will be ineligible for admission.
