Programme Duration
- PGD: 2 semesters
- Master’s (including professional Master’s): 3 semesters with thesis
- Doctorate (PhD/DrPH/DrCH): minimum of 6 semesters
- Certificate programmes: 6 months
Admission Requirements
All applicants must have at least five O’Level credits including English and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. Additional requirements include:
- PGD: Bachelor’s degree with Third Class or HND with Upper Credit.
- Master’s: Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Lower (2.2).
- Doctorate: Master’s degree with CGPA of 3.5/5.0 or equivalent.
- Short Courses: Minimum of OND from an accredited institution.
- NYSC Certificate: Discharge or exemption required for Nigerian candidates.
- Transcripts & References: Applicants must provide official transcripts and two recommendation letters (academic or professional).
Focus Areas in Public Health and Community Health
- Public Health (M.Sc/MPH, PhD/DrPH): Epidemiology & Medical Statistics, Environmental & Occupational Health.
- Community Health (M.Sc/PhD/DrCH): Community Epidemiology, Disaster & Humanitarian Emergencies, Community Immunology.
Mode of Study
- Blended learning: Online and on-campus classes.
- Research work: Thesis/dissertation for Master’s and Doctorate.
- Practical training: Laboratory sessions and fieldwork where applicable.
