Application for 2025 Admission Now Open

The OOU Post UTME and Direct Entry screening is now live for all qualified applicants. Candidates are encouraged to register early, follow the official steps carefully, and avoid third-party agents.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

For UTME Applicants

You can apply if:

  • You selected OOU as your first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored at least 160.
  • You did not choose OOU initially but scored 160 or higher and are willing to switch to OOU as first choice on JAMB (must be done before starting registration).
  • You’ve uploaded your O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.
  • You’re a foreign applicant or have a documented disability. These candidates are exempted from sitting for the CBT screening.

For Direct Entry Applicants

You are eligible if:

  • You hold any of the following qualifications: A’ Level, OND, HND, NCE, JUPEB, or First Degree, and have applied for Direct Entry to OOU via JAMB.
  • You graduated with a Diploma from OOU, applied through JAMB, and uploaded your full credentials.
  • You have a Diploma from another institution with at least Upper Credit, and have applied to OOU through Direct Entry.

How to Apply for OOU Post UTME/DE Form

Step 1: Payment

  • The screening application costs ₦2,000 (includes administrative charges).
  • Visit the OOU Post UTME Portal.
  • Create your profile using your correct UTME/DE registration number.
  • Make your payment online via the portal.

Important: Do not use an incorrect JAMB number or false data. It may disqualify your application permanently.

Step 2: Registration

  • After payment, continue registration on the same portal.
  • Fill in your personal and academic information accurately.
  • Print your Screening Pass from the portal at least one week before your exam date.

What to Bring for the CBT Test

Ensure you have the following documents on your screening day:

  • OOU Screening Pass (printed from the portal)

Time: Check your Screening Pass for your scheduled test date and time.
Type of Test: All candidates will take a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
