KWASU Invites Two Categories of Candidates

Kwara State University is open to two categories of applicants for the 2024/2025 session:

  1. UTME Candidates: Those who selected KWASU as their first-choice institution during UTME registration.
  2. Direct Entry Candidates: Those wishing to change their first-choice institution to KWASU. Candidates in this category must make the necessary change via the JAMB portal before beginning their screening registration.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a minimum of five O’level credits in relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings. Applicants awaiting their O’level results can also apply but will only be considered for admission once their results are available.


Registration and Screening Fees

All candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000 as part of the registration process.


How to Apply for KWASU Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening

Follow these steps to apply for the screening:

  1. Visit the official KWASU portal and click on “Click here to apply.”
  2. Select the “Undergraduate” link at the top menu.
  3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and select “Continue.”
  4. Fill in your personal information and valid contact details.
  5. Proceed to the payment page and click on “Make Payment.”
  6. Input your debit card details (Mastercard, Visa, or Verve) and submit.
  7. Enter the OTP sent to your phone to complete the payment.
  8. After successful payment, log in with your JAMB Registration Number and surname.
  9. Complete your registration on the dashboard.
  10. Print out the completed registration form and payment receipt for future reference.

In case of network issues, payments can be re-queried using your JAMB registration number and phone number.

  • Admission is based on meeting the cut-off points set by KWASU and the availability of spaces within the NUC approved quota.
