🎓 UNIMAID Admission Requirements 2025/2026

Whether you’re applying through UTME or Direct Entry, it’s critical to understand the qualifications required to be eligible for admission into your desired course.

For UTME Candidates:

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old by the time of application.
  • UTME Score: A minimum JAMB score of 180 is required for most courses (see the cut-off section below for department-specific scores).
  • O’Level Results: You must have at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
  • Subject Combination: The subjects you wrote in UTME must align with the course requirements for your chosen program.
  • Result Upload: Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB portal before or during the admission screening process.

For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

  • You must possess at least one of the following:
    • A-level results (e.g., IJMB, JUPEB)
    • OND or HND
    • NCE (National Certificate in Education)
    • First Degree
  • You must still have five credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Relevant subject combination for both your O’Level and A-level or diploma credentials is essential.
  • You must also upload your A-level or diploma result on the JAMB portal.
