Lagos State University (LASU) has commenced the online clearance process for newly admitted Sandwich Degree students for the 2024 Modular Year. This process must be completed through the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA). Failure to complete the clearance will result in the forfeiture of admission.
Overview of LASU Sandwich Admissions Clearance 2025
✔️ LACACA is managed by LASU Consult Limited.
✔️ Candidates must pay the required clearance fee via the LASU e-payment portal before proceeding.
✔️ Acceptance, medical, and clearance fees must be fully paid before clearance begins.
✔️ Successful candidates will receive their matriculation numbers upon completion.
How to Pay the Clearance Fee
Follow these steps to pay the required clearance fee:
- Visit the LASU Consult Website.
- Enter your Application Number in the “Matriculation Number/Application Number” field.
- Provide a valid email address and phone number.
- Click Continue to proceed with payment.
Steps to Complete LASU LACACA Clearance
- Go to the LASU Official Website.
- Click on the STUDENT tab and select SANDWICH LACACA.
- Enter your 2024 Modular Year Sandwich Application Number and Surname, then click Submit.
Required Documents for Clearance
Candidates must upload the following documents:
✔️ O’Level scratch card details for verification.
✔️ Original birth certificate.
✔️ Original Sandwich Admission Letter.
✔️ Scanned signature.
✔️ Confirmation of personal details and disability status (if applicable).
After submission, the clearance status will be at 20% while university officials review the documents.
Monitoring Clearance Progress
- Candidates must regularly check their clearance progress on the portal.
- If there are errors requiring correction, additional payments may be needed via the LASU e-payment portal.
- Once the clearance reaches 100%, candidates can:
✔️ Print the LASU Admission Clearance Certificate.
✔️ Receive their matriculation number.
Clearance Start Date
📅 The online clearance process begins on Friday, 7th February 2025.
Important Notes
- Rejected candidates should check their portal for the reason for rejection.
- Some candidates may need to visit the Directorate of Sandwich at the Main Campus, Ojo, for further assistance.
