Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has released an important update for candidates who have not yet secured admission for their first-choice programmes. Such candidates are advised to visit any JAMB CBT Centre to change to an available programme that aligns with their qualifications.

- Geography – Geography, Biology, and one other from Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Agricultural Science, or Economics
- Chemistry – Chemistry, Physics, and either Biology, Mathematics, or Further Mathematics
- Physics – Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology
- Physics Education – Physics and two other science subjects
- Chemistry Education – Chemistry and two other science subjects
- Archeology, Archeology/History – Geography, Geology, General Science, Physics, Chemistry, History, Government, or Economics
- Agricultural Science Education – Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and one other science subject
- Biology Education – Biology and two other science subjects
