Step-by-Step Registration Process

1. Confirm Admission Status

• Check your name on the UMYU UTME Admission List or UMYU Direct Entry Admission List.
• Verify the course offered. If it differs from your application, visit a JAMB-accredited CBT center or JAMB office for an update.
• Ensure your O’ Level and A’ Level results are uploaded on the JAMB portal at an approved CBT center.

2. Accept Admission and Pay Acceptance Fee

• Log in to the UMYU portal.
• Complete the acceptance fee payment and print the provisional admission letter and other required documents.
• Follow the registration guidelines provided on the university’s website.

3. Screening Requirements

After payment, visit the university for physical screening with the following:

• Printed University Admission Letter.
• Original and photocopies of O’ Level and A’ Level results.
• A scratch card for result verification.
• School credentials.
• Birth certificate.
• Certificate of origin.

4. Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS

• Accept the admission offer via JAMB CAPS.
• Print the JAMB Admission Letter and submit a copy during Central Registration.
• The admission confirmation process may take 24–48 hours.

5. Central Registration Process

• Registration opens on 3rd February 2025.
• Only students who have completed screening will be granted access.
• Pay the required registration fees via the UMYU official website.
• Upload a passport photograph and signature.
• Register for first-semester courses and print all documents.

6. Documentation at the University

• Report to your Department and open a file with your Level Adviser.
• Submit required documents at your Faculty and Academic Office.
• Provide passport photographs, school credentials, and necessary forms.
