Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has opened applications for its 2024/2025 Pre-degree programme. The programme prepares students for entry into 100-level courses, except for Medicine and Law. Read on for details about the admission requirements, entrance exams, and application process.

Admission Requirements

To qualify for admission, candidates must meet the following conditions:

• Five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in a Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings.

• For courses like Pharmacy, Nursing Science, and Medical Laboratory Science, the five credits must be obtained in one sitting.

• Fulfil specific departmental requirements as stated in the DELSU UTME brochure.

• Register for the 2025 UTME, list DELSU as their first choice, and meet the required cut-off mark.

• Register for the same course in both JAMB and the DELSU Pre-degree programme.

Entrance Examination

The entrance examination will be a computer-based test.

• Date: Tuesday, 21 January 2025

• Venue: DELSU Examination Centre, Abraka

Candidates must bring the following items to the entrance examination:

• Printed Photo Card

• Pen

Application Process

• Application Fee: N20,000.00

• Candidates must generate a virtual pin through the DELSU portal and complete payment via any authorized payment channels.

• Applications should be submitted online after payment.
