The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has announced the official examination schedule for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic session. This timetable applies to all students, including final-year, continuing, and first-year students, across all faculties.
Examination Dates
- Final-Year Students (Faculty of Education):
- Dates: Monday, 20 January – Saturday, 25 January 2025
- 2nd and 3rd-Year Students (Faculty of Education):
- Dates: Monday, 27 January – Saturday, 1 February 2025
- All Other Faculties (Except First-Year Students):
- Dates: Monday, 3 February – Saturday, 8 February 2025
- First-Year Students:
- Dates: Monday, 10 February – Saturday, 15 February 2025
- General Studies (GSS):
- Commencement Date: Monday, 17 February 2025
Key Instructions
- Lectures for first-year students will continue as scheduled by lecturers.
- Students must attend all classes and complete any pending assignments before the examinations.
- Detailed timetables, including course schedules and examination venues, will be issued by the Directorate of Academic Planning.
Examination Requirements
To participate in the examinations, students must:
- Present proof of full school fee payment.
- Show their university ID cards at the examination venues.
- Adhere to the “No Fee/No Examinations” policy strictly enforced by the university.
Conduct During Examinations
- Students and staff are expected to cooperate to ensure a smooth examination process.
- Activities that disrupt examinations will not be tolerated.
- Staff members are required to maintain discipline and enforce compliance with university rules.
