First Semester

December 2024

• 13th: University closes for end-of-year break; portal opens for registration.

• 24th–31st: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve.

January 2025

• 12th: Resumption for all students.

• 13th: Staff resumes; lectures begin.

• 19th: Registration closes for all students.

• 20th–26th: Late registration period; portal closes.

February 2025

• 6th–7th: Staff and faculty training sessions.

• 14th: Matriculation ceremony for new students.

March–April 2025

• 3rd–8th: Add/drop period for course registration.

• 14th: First Semester Exams commence.

• 18th & 21st: Public holidays for Good Friday and Easter Monday.

May 2025

• 4th: Semester break begins.

• 5th: Six-month SIWES program commences.

Second Semester

May 2025

• 18th: Resumption of all students.

• 19th: Lectures and registration commence concurrently.

June–August 2025

• 2nd–7th: Late registration period.

• 11th: Continuous assessment begins.

• 9th–16th: Eid al-Adha and Democracy Day holidays.

• 11th–16th: Revision week and Second Semester Exams commence.

Third Semester

September 2025

• 15th: Registration for Special Resit Exams begins.

• 29th: First Semester Special Resit Exams commence.

October–November 2025

• 20th: Second Semester Special Resit Exams commence.

• 31st: SIWES program concludes for Engineering students.

November 2025

• 2nd: 2025/2026 Academic Session begins.

December 2025

• 8th: University closes for the end-of-year break.
