Interswitch Group, a leader in integrated payments and digital commerce, has announced the nine finalists for the sixth edition of its prestigious InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition. This competition, known for showcasing Nigeria’s brightest secondary school students, challenges participants in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines and offers scholarships and prizes to the winners.

The Finalists

This year’s finalists, selected after rigorous quizzes and problem-solving tasks, include:

David Babalola (Brainfield College, Salolo, Lagos)

Denyefa Omare and Chidera Ejidike (St. Gregory’s College, Ikoyi, Lagos)

Hansel Orumah (The Ambassadors College, Ogun State)

Ndudu Ekong Henry (Pegasus High School, Eket, Akwa Ibom)

David Umeojiaka and Elvis Ekwelem (Graceland International School, Rivers State)

Nwachukwu Ebubechukwu and Uzoma David Onyeka (Marist Brothers’ Juniorate, Abia State).

Grand Finale Prizes

The finalists will compete for the coveted title of Nigeria’s Best STEM Student and these top prizes:

First Place: ₦15 million scholarship (5 years), a monthly stipend, and a brand-new laptop.

Second Place: ₦10 million scholarship (3 years) and a brand-new laptop.

Third Place: ₦5 million scholarship (1 year) and a brand-new laptop.

Fourth to Ninth Places: Cash rewards and laptops for their commendable performance.
