WomenLift Health, in collaboration with the Women in Leadership Advancement Network (WILAN), has announced the launch of the Nigeria Signature Leadership Journey for Women 2025. This fully funded, 12-month programme is designed to empower mid-to-senior career women in public health with essential leadership tools, mentorship, and a robust network.
Programme Highlights
- Target Audience: Mid-to-senior career women in public health policy, practice, or research.
- Objective: Build leadership capabilities to tackle complex health challenges.
- Learning Approach:
- Virtual sessions.
- Mentorship and coaching.
- Self-directed projects.
- Two in-person residencies:
- 3-day Immersion: 25–27 August 2025.
- 2-day Lift-Off: 9–10 April 2026.
- Lifelong Network: Access to local, regional, and global leadership networks.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Identify as a woman.
- Work in public health policy, practice, or research serving national-level populations in Nigeria.
- Have 10–20 years of public health experience.
- Be a Nigerian national, residing and working in Nigeria.
- Demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English.
- Reside in the West Africa Standard Time zone for at least 75% of the programme duration.
- Commit to attending all programme sessions and in-person residencies.
The programme encourages applications from diverse cultural, sectoral, and disciplinary backgrounds, including public, private, academic, and NGO sectors.
