The Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology (FCMLST), Jos, invites applications for the Post-UTME screening for the 2024/2025 academic session. This process is for admission into the College’s National Diploma (ND) programmes.

Available Programmes

FCMLST offers two National Diploma programmes:

• Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
• Environmental Health Technology (EHT)

Both programmes are designed to equip students with essential skills for their respective fields over a two-year course duration.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• JAMB Requirements:
  • Chose FCMLST, Jos, as their first choice and scored a minimum of 140 in the 2024/2025 JAMB UTME.
  • Candidates who scored 140 or more but did not choose FCMLST can apply by changing their institution through the JAMB portal.
• O’Level Requirements:
  • Five credits in Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Mathematics, and Physics from WAEC, NECO, or GCE in no more than two sittings.
  • O’Level results must not exceed five years from the date of application.

Application Process

Follow these steps to apply:

1. Obtain and Fill the Form:
   • Collect the application form from FCMLST.
   • Accurately complete the form and attach the required credentials.
2. Submit Your Application:
   • Submit the completed application to:
     Admission Unit
     Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology,
     P.M.B. 2253, Jos, Plateau State.

Screening and Registration Details

• Screening Period:
  • Starts 16th December 2024 and ends 17th January 2025.
• Venue:
  • College Assembly Complex.
• Time:
  • All applicants must report by 10:00 am on their specified dates.

Acceptance Fee Payment

Successful candidates must pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of N20,000 through the Treasury Single Account (TSA).

Steps to Make Payment on Remita:

1. Visit Remita.
2. Select PAY TSA & States, then PAY FGN.
3. Choose Federal School of Medical Laboratory Jos 052102704200 under “Who to Pay.”
4. Select the service type (e.g., school fees or hostel accommodation).
5. Enter “Nil” for the GIFMIS code.
6. Fill in the payment purpose, amount, payer’s details, and email.
7. Submit the details, select your payment method, and complete the transaction.
8. Generate and print your payment receipt with the Remita code.
